Natuur vormt meestal een voedingsbodem voor mijn kunst.
Bomen in bos en veld vertellen een verhaal doorheen de verschillende seizoenen. Silhouetten manifesteren zich tegen nu eens een heldere dan weer een donkere hemel. Hun spel van lijnen, licht, kleur en schaduw zijn onuitputtelijk. Dit is mijn inspiratiebron voor foto's, tekeningen en schilderijen.

Over and over again they tell a heavenly story, a story that becomes more silent, a story threatened with death. Now that mankind is rediscovering nature in these hectic times, trees are disappearing one by one. Who will stop this phenomenon? Therefore this hymn to the tree. This hymn expresses itself through the different layers of the photographic image, as well technically as visually. It’s a genuine research of an independent image that frees itself of every anecdotal element and avoids an exact reproduction of reality.
